For moms, by moms! With hundreds of classes to choose from, we will help create a custom program for your situation – expecting mom, new mom, single parent, overwhelmed mom – we’ve got you covered! Come in, sit down, let us get you a cup of coffee (or tea or water) and take a load off. This is your time to grow, be encouraged and refreshed. We even have a playroom attached for your little ones to play while you are doing classes. Our goal is to help equip you so you can provide a safe and stable home for your child(ren). Maybe you didn’t have the best start with parenting, or maybe you feel completely inadequate or fear you will repeat the mistakes of your family. Now’s the time to get the help you need and a fresh start for your family.
In addition to equipping you with parenting skills and support, we also provide material support. If you need help providing the necessary items for your child (age 0 to 3) you can enroll in our Baby Boutique program. Each class you take earns points which can then be spent in our Baby Boutique. You have the opportunity to earn needed items – from diapers to car seats and cribs and just about everything in between! We also work with other community agencies for services we don’t offer – housing, counseling, etc.
If you or someone you know is in need of items because of an emergency, please see more about that under Emergency Help.
How to get started: Simply call to set up your first appointment. This will be an enrollment appointment where we go through paperwork, assess your needs and create a program specifically for you. We ask each new enrollee to commit to 6 weekly sessions. After 6 weeks you have the option to continue on until you feel ready to be done or until you have reached the end of the program. Call Monday through Friday between 9 am to 4 pm to set up your appointment.
*Classes are available in Spanish with a Spanish-speaking teacher. Las clases están disponibles en español con un profesor de habla hispana.
If you or someone you know is in need of emergency baby items, we offer a one-time emergency help. Items that are available for this program are: diapers, baby formula, baby food, baby clothing (0 – 3T), car seats and pack-n-plays. All items are available based on availability. Each family is limited to a one-time help, but after that will have the option of enrolling in our parenting program to receive additional items.
How to get Emergency Help: Please call the center to arrange a time to come in to receive items. You will need to fill out a form, providing your name and address before receiving your items.
For dads, by dads. Dads play an incredibly vital role in the lives of their children. Many of the dads we work with didn’t grow up with a dad in the home and feel unprepared to now parent themselves. That doesn’t have to be the case. We have a great group of dads who have raised their children and want to see the dads in our community have what they need for their most important job! Whether your baby is on the way or already here, we have classes for you.

Are you providing kinship or foster care and in need of baby items? We can usually help! If you are in need of a car seat, pack-n-play, or clothing for ages 0-3T, please check with us. You are free to borrow items from us and return them when done so you don’t have to store them. If you are in need of other items, just ask, as we may have them or have access to them. We are so thankful for your work and care in this way – we want to support you however we can!
Have you been referred or ordered to come to do parenting classes with us? We want you to know that we understand that this is a difficult time and how hard it can be to just walk through the door. Past clients have stated how hard this can be but how welcomed they ended up feeling when they got here – and wished they would have known that, because they wouldn’t have been so reluctant (or nervous) to come. So let us put your mind at ease. We believe everyone deserves a place where they feel welcomed and cared for and that is exactly what we strive to offer, regardless of what brings you to us. If you are willing to put in the effort, we are willing to walk with you in this journey. Those who put in the effort leave in a much better place than where they started. Ready to get started? Call our office at 715-748-1235 to get your first appointment set up. Please let them know you are being referred by Human Services if that is the case. We look forward to meeting you!
For many, the decision to abort can start off feeling like a relief – the crisis has been averted. But for many, that relief is short-lived. Women report struggling with the decision – sometimes days later, others months, years, or even decades later. Many are unprepared for the emotional and mental impact and toll the decision takes. Post-abortion syndrome is real. Many women suffer in silence because they don’t know who to trust with their pain or that help is even out there. There is help and it is free and confidential. We have worked with a number of abortion recovery programs that we feel are trusted resources. Most are led by women who are themselves post-abortive and understand the journey. We will be adding individual resources soon, but right now if you would like to talk with someone, we would encourage you to contact the H3 Helpline. They have trained staff answering the phones and will connect you to the resources that fit your situation best. Not even we will know you contacted them, so if you would rather not talk to someone local at this time, this is a great way to do that.
You can find them at the H3 Helpline.
If you would prefer to talk in person, you are always welcome here. You will be listened to, cared for and treated with compassion, dignity and respect.
